This is concept art for how it must have look when Luminous gained his implants to create hardened light over his body. Originally intended to create digital tattoos that are animated across his body, this variation is used to create a hardened shied of light to block, defend and absorb physical attacks. He will be able to absorb and counter blow for blow with powerhouse villains until a breaking point is reached and his limits stretched beyond it's capabilities.

A thin veneer of golden light projected from cybernetic implants under the skin forms solid matter close to the surface of the subject’s skin. Skin will appear fluorescent with a golden aura of physical light that shields the subject from physical trauma. Subject has been observed to be unharmed from gun fire and punching through solid walls. Digital Solidified Light appears over the skin, therefore, does not extend to expand reach like for example, bladed weapons.

Original application - Digital Tattooing - use was for digital tattooing to make way for a new age art fab. Digital tattooing produces patterns glowing just above the surface of the skin but can move. So imagine snakes that slither across his body, a demon’s face that laughs, spiders that crawl across the body, but all in this yellow/golden neon-like light just above the surface of the skin

Strengths:

Defence -

• Digitally projecting solidified light energy will encase Luminous in a shielded armour for which can be used for protecting against tons of kinetic force and energy beams

Offence –

• With hands encased in gauntlets of hardened light, can be used to combat against super powered opponents, knock down walls and continually hammer away at solid objects

• Digital field can store kinetic energy to be helped in dealing out powerful blows or assist in lifting heavy objects.

Weaknesses – Threshold for withstanding continuous damage is untested
