To start off Goretober Pt. 2, the wonderfully violent challenge of blood and guts, I introduce to you the lost Goretober #13! (゜▼゜＊）

If you followed me last year during Goretober Pt. 1, you probably wondered why was there a skip between #12 and #14? Well, its explanation is rather, an unfortunate one...

Around this time where I had just passed the 10th Goretober challenge, my cat Frosty was exhibiting severe signs that she was seriously sick and after attempts to help her recover back to good health, it was too late and she was now confined to the blankets we left for her. I was devastated by her condition but I couldn't let it weight me down, so I did what I could to get my mind off it both at school and with the Goretober project. After completing the animated Goretober #12 comic, Challenge #13 was Decay. This was fun for me, especially with drawing a lifeless and rotting corpse of a Rapdonian laying in an abandoned temple! (perhaps he was killed by one of the booby traps looking for lost treasure left somewhere?)

After an assumed hour and a half of work, I had completed the challenge. I was just going to export the file into a png file and submit it when suddenly I heard a thud near me, I moved away from the computer to see Frosty on the ground, laying and struggling to stand. I panicked, falling back into my seat and cowering, my dad heard me and went straight toward my cat, along came my mom, who was sleeping at the time. Now, at the time, I was a very anxious person, so with my parents with Frosty, I sat in my room, contemplating on whatever I should release this or not, ultimately deciding on the latter, out of fear that both the number of the challenge and its imagery could bring bad luck. (Yes, I really did believe that)

After a year of drawing this picture, I am not as anxious as I used to be and opened up to the idea of releasing this creepy (and outdated) Goretober. I hope you like it...

...And rest in peace Frosty.
