There's... TECHNICALLY a story behind this.

For one thing, I was out on a picnic ("Helsinki pride's" after party, you could say) with some friends and we started talking about the upcoming convention, Tracon X this year and I mentioned how I was fresh out of ideas what to cosplay. I wanted something new, but still fun and which would be a tribute to something I like and admire. He was one of the ideas I came up with and it was 100% approved by Andrew and few others when I showed a promo photography of him.

I just had one problem; so many details and so little knowledge about the origins.

So I approached Striling himself, asking if he could provide some details about his gear and get up.
And he sure did. Those photos are going to help a lot, though it'll take a while to piece it all together. Thank goodness still have like 2 months to work on it.

This drawing on the other hand... though I did sketch and posted early version of it on instagram already last night, I wanted to have it prepared as a 'thanks' for his troubles, as soon as I could. I was bored today anyway (same as every other day - being unemployed sux) so I just spent my day working on this.

I like weird stuff, uniforms, gas masks, monsters and... well... tentacles. I just combined it all and TA-DAH! I blame it on a sugar rush after drinking too much soda before bedtime. chuckles

I'm not sure what's going on here in this pic, but I doubt it's any good.
