Art teacher wants us to take a children's story and recreate the characters, then illustrate a scene. I asked if I could make my own story and she said sure. Still haven't thought about the story, but I started drawing this for it.

Yeush, that is a 5-tailed kitsune stepping out of a painting... That a magical paintbrush is making of it... In the middle of a forest......... .... ...

Also, I think this is the first thing in a long while that I've actually made a background for. The world might 'splode!
