So for starters this was heavily referenced by this image:

I really liked the bg and whole enviroment and wanted to have a shot at trying something like it since I'm trying to change my style/techniques some. But I'm at least pleased with the outcome! Its nothing like the original picture but it gave me a fun little experience with lighting and simpler BG's and blur.

I chose that picture to draw because my head has felt like its underwater lately and Its only just now I'm starting to find calm waters I dare peek from.
