This was a really fun project to work on. We had to pick a real Musician and make a gig poster for a fake concert in a real location. So I picked a well known concert location here and did Halloween because it is the best day of the year. And I picked Voltaire because omg I love his music. This project also gave me and amazing opportunity , because a few months later he came into town and did a local meet and great with the fans here. So I thought I would give him the poster because I love his music soooo much, and we ended up art geeking out together, he signed the original poster and had me keep it, but then had me modified the poster so that it could be used for his European book tour. So this particular piece holds a very special place in my heart.
