Part of the work I did for Fandemonium prep was producing a artist rendering of the three mascots within the theme of this years convention. This year theme is pirates, so I decided to draw Anime Girl (who is a mascot that represents the anime cosplayers), as a pirate with an exotic bird. I almost went a One Piece direction with the design, but I am really glad I kept this more inline with my personal style.
