Also, how did you get so good at drawing hands? Any tutorials you could share with someone who infinitely struggles with them?-
Sure! i'll try to make something of a tutorial keep an eye out. (for now i'll hit you up with some word knowledge) When drawing hands things like muscles and bones play a huge factor in their shape and form knowing these things can greatly increase your output in detail. for example when yout make a claw with your hand your tendons and muscles flex making them more prominent.

My biggest error is drawing them too big proportionally actually, and I have no idea why

When I draw hands I think of them in proportion to the head/torso/& lower limbs. you can make some measurements from the head, the bigger the head the bigger the hands.
