not really true sisters but linked anyway...

finished james gurney's color and light book this week, after taking months to pore thru it properly, plus was looking up some proper photography lighting and how it looks for some new light source inspiration. muddling around with light directions, colors, trying to bring out values more and making proper shadow placement.
i keep using this dull yellowy green color. methinks it's the color of the trees. as september progresses the forest green changes to more of a pea soup green in preparation for the bright new england reds, yellows and oranges.
