This is Autumn, a cat I have had the honor of rescuing, with much assistance from FlyingFire and Griffon, who first put word out that he needed some help.

Just a quick update - he's settling down nicely here, and while my dog Toboe is a huge jealousbutt, they seem to be getting along just fine. There was a little hissing at first, but now it only happens if Toboe startles Autumn.

All in all, he's a total sweetheart and likes to sleep in my bedroom with me, and also has a favorite hidey spot behind the big curtain in the bathroom.

In a couple of weeks, I will be bringing him to the vet; there are a couple major things that need to happen: He needs to be neutered; he has a few broken teeth that need to be removed so they do not rot and cause infections and pain. His shots are up to date.

However, these two surgeries are going to cost me nearly $800.

Yes, eight hundred. I don't have that much, and the appointment is already made so I need to make some cash, fast!
