This is suuuuuper old, and I think I drew this at the beginning of my first college semester. Still love the way it looks, which is always a plus! I told myself I need to draw more ethnicities different from my own (I am as white as the sun) so I tried to go for a darker skinned lady. I had soooooooo much fun with the hair. Curly hair is the absolute best, and I never really tried it with such short hair before. I also had fun altering some features to better fit the ethnicity, so overall I thought this was a great drawing. I hope to do some other types of people sometime! Gotta expand those horizons.
