The second of my "of the Host" characters. Actually, she's really the fourth character that I've worked out, but I haven't worked out exactly how I want the other two to look quite yet. They're getting there though...

For those who are curious, Peregrines are basically the assassin caste of the Host. Unlike the Knight caste who are the front line fighters and whom interact with humanity most, often in the form of guardian angels, a Peregrine stays to the shadows, quietly dealing with threats that don't, or can't, allow for the mobilization of the entire host. Be that an angel gone rogue, or the quiet removal of a threat to the balance of the world. As such, the potential power that they can bring to bear, when needed, is formidable, though they are most often known for their blinding speed and the ability to move completely unnoticed, even among other angels. One interesting point to note; no matter how large the Host might become, there is never more than 100 Peregrine at any given time. Only when one has died or been cast out of the host, shall another be born.
