A little thing you should know is of what a ghoul is:

Ghouls are carnivorous and cannibalistic creatures in which their diet consist of humans (or other furs in this case) or other ghouls. They seem to appear normal, until they go into their hunting/fighting mode. They have an organ called a "kakuhou" from which something called RC cells are formed and break through skin to become a "kagune", a ghoul's natural weapon that can be somewhat manipulated by the owner.
