Having the skills to fight off dangerous creatures is a must in this Pod. They start learning young, so the older sister is already an expert. The younger is hiding in the distance, watching, as she'll be learning how to hunt and protect herself soon. Tridents are one of the common weapons, but many others can be used and is more so a preference. If fast enough, you can sometimes catch fish without using a tool to do so. This is usually too difficult for the new learning children however.

Sharks are rarely an issue for the Pod, and it isn't unusual to befriend them. But attacks can happen anyways. The Pods know how important sharks are, and won't kill them unless there's absolutely no choice. They just protect themselves until the shark losses interest.
