Never Too Late (Instrumental Cover) (critique requested)

MidnightMouse

Here's my instrumental cover of Three Days Grace's 'Never Too Late' off of their album One-X. I dropped the tuning down to Drop C rather than Drop D like the band play it in. I also dropped out the little lead part over the chorus. I recorded something for it but decided to omit it from the soundcloud version. Youtube's version might include the omitted lead. The bass isn't perfect but its the best I'll get with my shoddy instrument. I need to put some serious work into the guitar's wiring, and get a new set of stringers on her.

Anyway, enjoy!

I liked it, but when you hit certain mid-tones to high-tones it sounded 1/2 to 1/3 of a step off from the rest of the pattern in play. It could be a number of things, If I to guess, it would be your guitar. Maybe tuning, but also it could be your fret. You say you drop tuned and some guitars, Like Mine, don't handle the same when adjusted like that! Other than that I liked your handling of the piece!
