Snow filled the city in a wonderland of white. A brown and tan rabbit was playing our side with her blue Chao an she's twin tail fox friends. The rabbit, Cream, was making a snowman with Tails, the two tail fox, and Cheese, the Chao. Suddenly, a gust of wind went by and snow covered them. "Hey!" Tails called out teasingly. "What was that for, Sonic!?" The blue blur ran back and stop, and busted out laughing. "I'm*snort* sorry bro! I didn't men at or do that!" Cream made a snow ball and hit Sonic in the face. "Hey!" Sonic smiled and started walking over to Cream in a teasing way. "Help!" The thirteen year old cried in a humorous way. Sonic leaped an skinned her, and started tickling her. After a few minutes, he got up and explained why he was Ina rush. "Your getting SHADOW something? This is new." Sonic nodded quickly. "That's why I need to know, how do you-" he shut his mouth quickly and bolted. "Huh. That's new."
Sonic ran to the closest department store, Rose's and Emeralds, and saw Amy, the owner, working at the register. 'She'll know!' Sonic walked in and called a treating out her. "Ames!" Amy turned and smiled. "Hey Sonikku what are you doing here?" "I came to ask if you had a ring section here? Tails wants me to find a ring for Cream. You won't tell her will you?" Amy pulled her fingers across her lips like a zipper. "My lips are sealed. So what type is he looking for?" "Size 7.5, white gold, and the inside of the ring reads 'to my love, may our love never burn out'." Amy's eyes widened. "Wow, that is really specific." "What do you expect?" Sonic shrug when he said that. "Well, let me see what I can do for you."
Later that day, Sonic walked out with a dark blue box, and a smile on his face. 'I hope Tails forgives me, and Amy too.' His phone started to ring. "Hello?" A deep voice was on the other end. "Sonic? Good, your still alive. Listen ,I am heading to a club lager and I know that you enjoy singing, so want to join me? Its karaoke night." Sonic got really excited. Shadow knew what he loved to do. "I'd love to! When and where?" "I'll come get you around 7:30. Be ready." Shadow hung up, and Sonic, full of energy, ran home.
7:25 came around and Sonic was wearing his favorite dark blue button shirt, and a comfortable pair of black pants with his trademark shoes. Sudden.y, a rumble from outside was heard and Sonic knew Shadow had came. Walking outside, he locked the door and got on the motorcycle. "Ready?" Shadow asked and Sonic squeezed Shadow's shoulders lightly. He took off, and Sonic ducked his head, not wanting the wind to make him blind. 'Man, why did I for get my glasses!' The reached the club, club Ferocious, known for the best margaritas on all of Mobius, and Sonic and Shadow got off the now so let bike. They walked in and Sonic was directed to the stage for a karaoke. When he got to his turn to sing, he told the male wolf the song and got in front of the mic. The music started playing, and Sonic started singing.

As the song finished, everyone in the club clapped and cheered. Sonic got off the stage and stood by Shadow. "Good job faker." Shadow gave him a light kiss and they left.

Christmas day came, and as everyone had already opened their gifts and Sonic finally came back down the stairs with the box wrapped up and handed it to Shadow. "Merry Christmas." Shadow opened it and when he opened the box, his eyes widened. "Sonic?" He looked at the azure hedgehog, blushing bright red. All was silent except for one word that Shadow said.
