Kyori has always been something of an oddity, even being the somewhat less-than-ethical scientist she is. The squirrel has never had any qualms performing field tests for any of the experimental devices on herself, feeling like everyone in her labs should be willing to share the risks associated with experimentation.

If she's the only scientist in the lab, why not step under the ray, just to see what it'll do to you? You get the best data that way! ...Okay, maybe not the best, in the scientific sense, but definitely the most -fun- data.

And, for that matter, if you need to get some really delicate, finicky microchip maintenance done, and you've got a shrink-ray sitting in the corner, otherwise collecting dust on its own...why not throw on a body-suit and take advantage of the added dexterity a drastic lack of size gives you?

...The only downside are the lab assistants who honestly can't help but watch you work, rather than get their own work done...
