Avril murmured to herself, with an added grunt of effort here or there, as she shoved the pen with her entire body. It really -was- proving to be kind of tough to maneuver around, especially as time went on. She used to be taller than the darn thing, after all!

"...That means that...ah, by a factor of five...oh...shoot."

Avril winced as her little, tiny paws swept over some of the still slightly damp pen ink, smudging a few of the numbers she'd been taking down.

Honestly, she thought to herself for the briefest second, she should've chosen a -different- topic to do her studies on, rather than calculating the 'hypothetical' physics of a miniaturized person. ...Well, they would've been hypothetical if she didn't work for an actual mad scientist with an -actual- shrink ray. And, admittedly, the 'physics' part mostly just involved putting herself through little physical challenges on her desk and measuring the results...

...No time to think about that. She was getting off topic. She'd lost another inch just reflecting on this! ...She didn't have many to lose before reversing the effects became a bit unmanagable! Yet alone calling her boss at these hours...

"Okay. So, at this size, I should...ah, right. Let's try and see how far my WPM calculations have dropped when I use the keyboard..."

And, as seen here, Avril's trying to work through one of her college assignments...and she's not especially troubled by the fact that just moving the pen takes all of her strength? She's always open to a challenge, at the very least so...that's probably part of it!
