Back when I first decided to try selling at a convention, I drew a feathercats series to make into prints and stickers. I could only muster the motivation to do the characters... decent backgrounds were beyond my ability, both energy-wise and technical-skill-wise. But instead of despairing and scrapping them because I couldn't make them as nice as I hoped, I went ahead and made prints of them anyway, simplistic backgrounds and all... and people still loved them! It taught me a lot about toxic perfectionism and the value of "good enough."

I now have both increased motivation and increased technical skill, so I'm going back and sprucing up the backgrounds on the feathercats. The eagret is my personal favorite out of the bunch!
