Kerry O'Day, known in the fandom as Mammallamadevil, a wonderful and warm person passed away on the 17th after fighting cancer.

I have nothing but good memories of Kerry. We stopped talking after a while because I stepped away from the fandom for a long time and didn't keep up my Livejournal.

At MFM 2006, I bought a scarf from the TigerHaven auction-- a Doctor Who scarf (fourth doctor) that Mammallamadevil had made herself and donated to the charity. I've worn that scarf every winter since, wrapping it around myself several times in the Colorado chill when going to auditions or rehearsal. It has been part of my winters ever since I got it. I love this scarf, and I remember chatting after the auction about how she made sure she had the right colors to match the original.

I'm going to take very, very good care of this scarf.

I drew this picture in memory of mammallamadevil. She was very fond of cartoon bunnies, and so I drew the Fourth Doctor from Doctor Who as a bunny.
