It is important to buy Gemynni from a responsible source, as cutting corners or rushing the creation process can cause issues with them, such as deformities, personality disorders or ill-health.

Not everyone is completely accepting of Gemynni and some groups even consider their production and ownership unethical.

Gemynni have similar lawful rights to animals/children in that they cannot be subject to cruelty, exploitation or neglect in anyway, owners cannot abandon their Gemynni and owners must be responsible for their Gemynni’s actions.

It’s rare for a Gemynni to be stray or without an owner, but wild groups of Gemynni are not unheard of.

Those that believe in the magical properties of gemstones may seek out specific Gemynni to receive the benefits of said gem (e.g. Amethyst is said to have “calming” effects). It is unconfirmed if these beliefs are true.
