A commission for Rith, who waited patiently and hopefully got well rewarded of his patience :)

I decided to go with a colored/shaded sketch for his character, and in a relaxing sort of pose because it felt like it was the best choice. As a commission artist, I tend to go through and examine other pictures made for a character I'm working on to kind of build an idea of what the character may be like to get an idea of what sort of pose I want to work on for them.

After browsing some stock images for some ideas on a relaxing pose I came across one on Deviantart that just stood out like it was saying "Pick me!". He appears to be relaxing, but in a calm and collective way. Perhaps he's taking a moment to think of a plan, or reflecting on past decisions?
