"Twilight's Dawn"

Like most paintings it wasn't named until it was near completion. Given the background could represent either dawn or dusk and the fox's nature and given folklore of being a "walker between worlds" I wanted to play off this. More or less an art therapy piece that allowed me to find a method I truly enjoy. Depicted here and while the lighting would have heavy play into this I wanted to suggest warmth to her cooler greys and thus this has come to pass.

The scanner unfortunately did not pick up on the iridescent shimmering effect most the painting possesses. For this perhaps later it can be captured via photograph as I plan to matte and frame it.

A winter coat of fur if you will but I think now more than ever it is more permanent
