So about 4 years ago during my freshmen year of college, We had to do a re-imagining of an established fairy tale as the final for storyboarding. I chose to do a japanese retelling of Little Red Riding Hood with a Kitsune (Fox spirit) playing the role of the Big Bad Wolf. This being my freshmen year, I was basically taking advantage of the fact that we could turn in our work at any time and as a result I failed the class. 4 years later, I decided to resurface the idea in the form of a visual development project and possible idea for a future short.
