This took a lot of time for me to do, from the critiques on the sketch to trying to do some clean inkwork do attempting detailing the fur and "feathers" (which don't look like feathers I know shhhh). A gift for the man I love, I miss him dearly and cannot wait until he returns home.

Actually, the not-feathers-feathers here actually improve the picture by emphasizing connection between the two subjects.
