I think a lot more people feel this way than you realize. Mankind has been searching for himself for generations upon generations. Some people know right off the bat who and what they are, and some people spend their entire lives searching. I'm one of the latter. I still don't know completely who or what I'm supposed to be, but when the time is right, I'll know.

Aww. I know those feelings well. Sometimes, you gotta look beyond the stars, and sometimes the answers are a lot closer to home. Hope things sort themselves out for you. I know it's tough being confused and lost.
