OMG OMG OMG OMG GUYS GUYS GUYS!!!

I did it! I bought a second fursuit! And it's perfect! Back when I was thinking about a second fursuit, I always wanted to get an MLP suit. Why? Well, cause it's cross culture. I can wear it at all most ANY geek event: Anime cons, Pony cons, and furry cons! Normal anthro suits are hard to wear at stuff line Pony cons, cause it causes drama cause alot of bronies don't like furries. Same with anime cons like SakuraCon. They allow us to be there, but they shun us and ban us from doing panels or events. Not many people know that about SakuraCon. :(

However, a MLP suit is the best cross-fandom costume! It's welcome pretty much everywhere. Brony cons LOVE a full MLP suit. Furries love MLP suits (most of em), and anime cons pretty much love em too since half of anime cons are full of bronies anyway. XD

When I thought about what MLP character to get, I thought about doing a male MLP character mostly cause there isn't many of them and I don't know how I'd feel dressing up as a female pony. One of the few male ponies I like was Shining Armor. At the time, there was a BILLION Big Macintosh fursuits out there. Like almost 5 I found on Google, and a couple Brauburns. But no one had done Shining Armor. At the time, Shining Armor was a rather new character. The wedding episode had just come out a month before Everfree.

I thought "that's it!". I could commission a Shining Armor suit! NO ONE has made it yet! So, my plans were in motion. I was excited about the idea of being the ONLY and first Shining Armor fursuit! :D But, then I went to Everfree. And, loa and behold, the first and SUPER AWESOME Shining Armor fursuit was there, accompanied by an equally amazing Twilight Sparkle fursuit.

A part of me was kinda crushed cause I didn't win the SA race. :( But hey, I couldn't get it anyway. So, for some reason, I lost a lil motivation to get it done cause alot of me wanted to have the first MLP suit of that character. Kinda added a lil something special too it.

Well, it's about 6 months later, and guess what I see on FA? That VERY SAME fursuit for sale! I was like, NO FUCKING WAY! At first I was like "Eh, it won't fit". Cause they never do. I've seen alot of pre-made suits for sale on FA, but they never fit me. The numbers are always WAY off. But man, I saw the posted numbers, they they fit! PERFECTLY! The range was almost exactly the range that fits me. Not only that, but it was designed with alot of elastic to give it a "Size fits most". Also, when I talked to Sophie later on, she said the person it was originally made for had a beer belly like mine as well, so that made me feel better about it fitting too. :)

Not only that, but it wasn't an auction. I knew I had a check from Uncle Sam coming in, and I said "eh, fuck it". I made my bid, and I got it!!! The one and only bad ass Shining Armor suit! :D :D :D I admired it 6 months ago, and got all jelly. But now he's mine! I'm SO excited!

I won't get him till final payment, so don't expect to see this guy till Everfree Northwest 2013. I should have him JUST in time for that con. I am very much looking forward to walking around with him. :3

One more thing knocked off my bucket list! :D :D

PS: For those wondering when they'll be able to see him at the next furry meetup here in Seattle, don't hold your breath. It all depends on my tax return, and how things are set up now, I won't have him till sometime in June.
