One of my favorite aspects of associating with so many nerds is that there I have a THOUSAND creative friends. Musicians, illustrators, actors, machinists, programmers… you name it.
Now, I can share some of the love with them.
We just punched past the $900-per-thing goal on Patreon. From now on, I'll be commissioning an artist every month to create a new illustration to go with the songs and stories I'll be releasing. However, I need your feedback on one critical part:
To Thing Or Not To Thing
Originally I had intended to make these commissioned pieces just one of the perks, not an actual THING. I'd send out hi-res digital copies to everyone (and hard, signed copies to my Mysterious Benefactors). The next goal, at $1,500 per Thing, would cover the costs of printing and shipping signed copies to EVERYONE at the Officer level or higher ($10 per Thing and up).
HOWEVER…
If I call these illustrations a Thing and make them a paid item, I could afford to send physical, signed copies right now (Trainees and Cadets would still get the high-res digital version). That's a high-quality, limited-edition print that'll be signed by the artist AND myself before being sent to you. And the sum I can pay the graphic artists would be much higher already.
If you're supporting me on Patreon, PLEASE go leave your feedback on this here:

P.S. If you're wondering why I don't just draw things myself, check out Woodbirb (the image attached to this post). That took me six months to do and I'm still not done yet. I should probably stick to music and writing.
