I was in a time paradox. Trying to find a way to stop the time skips that were happening around us. Every few seconds time would pause or skip forwards. It was rather terrifying for those who it plagued the most. I was with a team to try to stop it. We were in a town made of crystal and glass. The town was very advanced compared to what we are today.

I was with my team in a small suburb area, the trees were made of emeralds with ruby fruits. just so much more I wish I could explain it better. But I was there, we all were in suits that we thought protected us. For the time skips plagued a lot of people in this one town for some reason. The people of this town did not fear the time skips, they enjoy life as normal. No matter how much or little time that they might have on this planet. We were set up shop in one of the larger houses. It used to hold a mighty family. They would take in orphans children who lost their parents in time skips or the ones who got stuck in time.

As we set up our computers, readers, machines things we used to monitor the town. I noticed that the air smelled much sweeter in this place then anywhere else in the world I been. I told this to the head chief but he just laughed at me saying that I was just smelling the women's perfumes that use to live here.

Once the set up was complete, I sat down at my new desk checking my readings that scanned just down the road. Two time skips and one pause but something was different this time. Something seemed off about these last three incidents. I stood up and told my chief that I am going down to investigate myself.

As I suited up to walk out the door, I heard a scream coming from just down the road. I hurried up and put my suit on all the way. Running the fastest I could down the street. Just to come up on this horrifying creature. It's flesh was blacken that shined a mossy greenish red. It had no eyes, ears or even a nose. But two back legs with two very long skinny arms with only three thick fingers. That held what seemed like large daggers on the end of the sausage like fingers.

In a blink, the person that was frozen in time was ate up in one bite. The think turned and grinned at me as it spit out the left shoe before disappearing. This kept happening, I told the people in the office what I saw. They did not believe me at all. I kept telling them over and over again. What was plaguing this world.

I finally got up the guts to leave the safe place with out my suit on, I took a step onto the street to see the beauty that it held. Touching it for the very first time. Realizing why these people can not leave this place. It was like a fairy tail. Nobody got sick here, nobody was in pain. Besides the ones who lost their loved ones to the time.

That is when I heard it a snickering behind me followed by a deep voice. "You won't get very far without that suit on, we can smell you sweet flesh, we can taste it already. You bring with you the time of another. You are the reason we are here. You come from some place beyond the stars." Everything froze around me, I was scared that I would be frozen as well. But I was wrong, I was able to move freely among the time pause.

Clenching my fist together, I yelled back at the creatures."Why are you here, you say I am from another time how can that be?" I reached up and grabbed a ruby apple from the tree to try to calm my shaking. The creatures spoke again." Watch it watch it we are getting closer and closer..."They begin to laugh. I dropped the ruby apple and sprinted back to the house we set up lab in. Half way down the street time came back.

I came bursting through the door breathing hard, telling them what just happend. They were all still waking up. Most of them were in their pjs. This whole time, I didn't realize, that i didn't go through the proper cleaning before opening the door. But I soon realized I was keeping it open for a little to long so I closed it. Not realizing that I let one of those creatures of time in.

They of course all laughed at me when I told them what I heard out on the streets. And for some reason they didn't seem to care that I didn't get cleaned up from going outside. Like they knew something I didn't. But for now I just went to my room to get washed up and changed for the day. The moment I was done I heard a blood curdling scream come from down the hall.

I rushed out to see one of those creatures freezing the man that worked next to me, eating him whole, only leaving his shoes. Then it turned to me, grinning before speaking." I told you we would find you, I told you we would get you, I told you we would do this. I old you this and we told you that."

My eyes widened in fear, I turned to run down to the main part of the house to worn the others. By the time I gotten there. They were all laughing and having a good time. I told them again what happened to that man. But they had no memory of it. I was terrified but all I could do was just get back to my work.

A few hour passed me just looking over readings. The events played over and over in my head. Then that is when it happened, I heard the deep laughter behind me, I turned to see the creature was right behind me. The thing was opening its mouth wide. I threw out a punch at it to try to push it away. But all I did was manage to get my hand stuck in its mouth. The whole time it was laughing. I screamed loudly...That is when I woke up, laying my bed.
