In March of 1997, former pop-idol, Albany, made her Broadway debut as Éponine in a six-week special run of "Les Misérables". She reluctantly surprised musical theater purists who believed she didn't have the vocal chops to sing the role.

Her husband, Makks, proudly sat in the front row for each performance.
