Here is an experiment I did with Super PSG VSTi plug in. It allows you to emulate the sound chip in the Sega Master System. It also allows you to push it to its limit by rerouting the video refresh rate into the sound channels giving it enhanced sound similar to that of the Commodore 64.

In theory, this should work on the actual game console. Too much CPU is used for sound, making gameplay nearly impossible while doing this technique.
