Mushroom Spores by Maquenda

Mushroom Spores

Maquenda

I've been wanting to do this for years, but kept forgetting or the shrooms were aready shriveling up..

During primary school we used to make mushroom spore prints (I went to a Steiner school and we made lots of nature crafts..it's something I'm very grateful for because it made me feel much more in touch with nature and myself and my spritual side I believe)

You cut of the tops of the mushrooms and place them on a sheet of paper, black or white, depending on the spore colors, put a bowl or something to cover them so no air flow can damage the spore prints, wait a few hours, sometimes after an hour or less even! And voila, spore prints! =D

They look like pretty halos from nature and I'll be using them in future art soon! :D I'm so happy about these :)

I've had a few people already say they look like anusses, so please refrain from making that joke again, it gets old real fast :')
Thank you!
