On Origin's Eve by Mannoth

On Origin's Eve

Mannoth

Carson the squirrel lives the life of many: simple, easy, and practically perfect. Technology has prevailed in its quest to unite all species by bringing them under a single roof--but standards are high, and waiting in line seems like agony. Carson bitterly takes his time, only to learn a little more about the world around him.

Wrote this almost exactly a year ago, give or take... well, two months, but it's close enough. Just another piece that I decided to touch up very slightly and share out. Different from most of my macro stuff in the sense that the size difference is due to species being approximately the size they would be in real life, leaving quite the natural disparity.

Putting this up because its universe will soon become relevant again. Soonish.

Still as cute and delightful a read now as it was back then! Looking forward to reading of further adventures in the SS universe. Not like I have had a sneak peek or anything of the sort, no sir. 0:3

No no, that would be just crazy. Pure silly putty. |3 As much as I like the world in this one, the story itself doesn't exactly match my current quality standard. Looking back, it was mostly an experiment in world-building and dialogue at the time, but I think it was pivotal in me pinning down a style nonetheless. Setting up a scene with little context and then dropping hints and info as I go. Thanks for commenting, Sir Reep! :3
