In a small, unassuming town where magery is a norm, a leopardess mage of both true and stage magic fantasizes about overcoming the stringent boundary between both. Worried that her hobby of spellplay spilling into her job as a performer would be too risky, she decides to take the simple route--but a decision is made for her instead.
One of the first complete short stories I've ever written, so suitably what I've decided to tidy up a little bit and make my first upload here before I slink away. It's not my best work and has some signs of age, but certainly remains one of my favorites.

Pff I'd say it has aged fine enough! Tali and Tom remain as delightful and cute a duo as ever. The pacing zipped right along and the story was as gentle and pleasant read.
