Thanks, Xfinity...

My house has been having problems with Xfinity... and no, it's not with the Wi-Fi this time. That's usually the problem we have with Xfinity, but this time it's with our cable! Yay!

So, it all started on Friday afternoon. My mother came home for lunch, and we were about to turn on the TV and watch Friends on TBS. Then we turned on the TV... and instead of Friends, we got this:

"Remote not working? Aim it directly closer to your TV."

So, we did that. And... we still didn't get to watch Friends. So, we turned the TV off and decided to wait and mess it with after Mom comes home from work. Then, Mom came home from work and turned the TV on. Sure enough, it was the same shit. So, Mom fooled around with the TV for a couple of hours until she gave up and decided to mess with it the next day.

Wait, that's not the complete truth. My mom called the Xfinity people after fooling with the TV, but we all know the Xfinity customer service people aren't the most reliable people out there. As a matter of fact, my sister did a better job at finding out what a problem was than the Xfinity people.

So, Saturday comes. My mom turns on the TV, and sure enough... yep, wouldn't you know it?! That was when I woke up to my mother dropping F-bombs early in the morning. So, she took a bath (all while contacting another Xfinity person), and right before she got dressed, the TV came on like nothing had happened the day before.

You might be asking what any of this rambling has to do with the art piece above. Well, when Xfinity is being a pain in the ass, it's usually because the Wi-Fi's out. And we all know how useful Xfinity is when it comes to Wi-Fi outages. So, when dealing with the TV stuff, I was inspired to make this lovely piece of social commentary to express my frustration. Thanks, Xfinity...
