Tokoshie/Kosi has changed a bit. I've hated her for a long time. I still don't like her and don't think I ever will, but some characters are like that maybe? But her change has been in vague development for a while. This image is the start of portraying that.
This wouldn’t even have gotten this far if it wasn’t for Marz. After I had the background blocked in and the colors set, he put in all these wonderful details into the background that just tied everything together and really gave the picture a sense of post-apocalypse. It’s what I really wanted with this. Even after he handed the file back over to me and I started making more adjustments, he still had a lot of good tips to offer, which I used. Really thought I was going to scrap this. Had lost all interest in it until he jumped in.

Just needed to pop in and say just how beautiful I think this piece is. It's so hard to get atmospheric settings to look right and I think you did a lovely job. The back lighting is really well done, and definately gives the appropriate feeling for the start of sunset.
Also I just had to comment on how I like the character's look. I know you're still working on it but I really love the sort of love green scaled patches. They look like this sort of almost crystal substance, or some sort of mildly translucent horn of sorts, and I think it just looks great!
