All You Need To Know About Alchemiac Golems

Makeshiftstory

By Popular Vote, I bring you the Guide for Alchemiac Golems :'D It was to be out on Christmas eve as a gift to all you guys, but things happen and such. Anywho, onto the informations :'D With special guest Fan Golems, Milliner Chaz GELF and Cleveland Rabid-Raccoon.
Specialty Golems:

Break-off Golems
Considered Dangerous and painful, Break-off Golems are golems that contain a piece of their creator’s soul. When created, the creator loses a few pieces of their personality and will never have that part of them ever again. The Danger to the Creator is very high and could easily become nothing more than an empty shell. This is why there is a two golems limit for Break-Off Golems. The Golem and the Creator cannot be separated and must be within 25 miles of each other. If such a thing happened, they would immediately go into a hibernation like state until they are brought back together. The only way around this is if the creator gave their golem a piece of their flesh, giving them both an X amount of time before the flesh has been fully digested by the golem. If the case of either the golem being destroyed or the creator has died, the surviving party will plunge into this deep depression and will seek out anything to fill in the ‘void’. There are only two reasons for doing such a golem, remote viewing or longing to have a child. Because the golem originated from their creator’s spirit, both the creator and the golem can view what the other is seeing for five hours. Both parties can somewhat manipulate them in very small ways such as headaches or nightmares. The draw back is that for five hours, the viewer is blind and can only see what the golem/creator is seeing.

Shikigami:
Shikigami golems are a controversy amongst Magic users and Alchemists if they should be classified as a golem or not as they predate the alchemiac by nearly five millinia. Shikigamis are golems that resembles paper puppets that do not require food or sleep, thus making them with no needs for limits as one could fill their home with these guys. However, this is where the other controversy begins. Shikigami golems are often use, rather effectively, as a form of security system in homes. They can basically bend reality and are known freaks of nature due to their physics breaking nature. They are notorious for reducing intruders to a pile of bloody bones by shredding intruders via paper cuts.

Necromantic Golems
Necromantic golems are just what the name implies. They are golems powered by a deceased party with one remain of theirs or if related, the person’s blood. Necromantic golems have rules, one, they must have consent from the deceased party and two; they must get a permit from a necromancy circle. Once those requirements have been met, they must head forth and gather a small piece of their remains or personal belongings. However, if the deceased party is related to the person making that particular golem, they may use their own blood instead which requires about one gallon. They can see ghosts and often become magnets towards ghosts and demons. So, it is not too uncommon for necromantic golems to be literally covered with good luck charms.

Cremantic Golems
Cremantic golems are golems powered by a sphere, a metal exoskeleton and ashes. The Sphere acts like the mother control and is the golem. The ash surrounding the sphere acts like the limbs and movement control inside the iron shell. The ashes can also be used as a defense mechanism by forcing itself into its attacker or perceived threats’ respiratory system and slowly suffocating it. This is also why Cremantic Golems are banned in Europe and some parts of Asia. If a Cremantic Golem is to be made, they must go through a lot of paperwork to get permission and fully understand the consequences if this kind of golem is not properly watched over. The Exoskeleton must have plenty of openings for the ashes to properly flow in and out of as well as properly collect more ashes to join in.

Tasseographic Golems
Tasseographic golems are golems powered by and can manipulate specific kinds of drinks. They are more of a fashion golem rather than practical golem, unless their creator specializes in tea leaf/coffee grinds/Wine readings. There are thousands of kinds of drinks a golem can be powered on, but the most common kind around and popular is tea golems. What makes these golems popular is because their body changes color and pattern to represent the particular kind of tea they either drank or ate. The other thing that makes them popular is that they can manipulate the levels of steeping in the tea.

Soft Golems
Soft Golems are golems created from soft moldable material such as clay or putty and are the only known shapeshifting golems. However, because of the material they are created from, they are considered incredibly rare due to the difficulty on getting them animated. Some can go as is while others can chose to have a golem shell to operate behind.

Food Golems
Sentient Food Golems like Soft Golems, are incredibly rare, in fact, there is only one known existing sentient food golem currently. Normally, food golems are not sentient and just tend to be like scared wild animals. If another sentient golem did come to be, they would require a golem shell to pilot so they won’t draw attention from anyone and to protect them from being devoured by scavenging animals.

Botanomantic Golems
Also known as the hippy hipster golems, Botanomantic golems are essentially sentient moving mini gardens that tend to take after either the mystical dryads or a fancy looking Chia Pet. The garden is either located on the top of their heads or on their backs. They control the plants that are in their garden for additional manipulation or as an offensive. As their other name implies, a good portion of them have this really stuck up and preachy attitude towards others with an ego to boot. They do not need food to consume; instead, they need solar energy, organic fertilizers and water to keep moving and active.

Hive Mind Golems
Perhaps one of the more perplexing golems around, hive mind golems are treated as though they are a single golem despite the fact of them being made up of hundreds or thousands of tinier golems. The true golem is the ‘Queen’ that controls the smaller basic golems and often is the biggest one in the swarm. These are often used for spying and information gathering due to their design. While normally, they can go about as an organized swarm, others can inhabit an exoskeleton as a mobile hive for a lack of a better word

Blood Magic Golems
Blood magic Golems and Blood Fueled Necromantic golems should never be confused for one or the other. Where as Blood fueled Necromantic golems require a huge amount of blood to function, Blood Magic Golems require only a tablespoon worth of blood. While a deceased family member drives Blood Fueled Necromantic golems, Blood magic Golems are not. Where Blood Fueled necromantic golems need to eat regularly, Blood magic don’t need to eat anything for three months. They instead go on a blood-drinking spree when their three months are up and often viewed as the vampires of the golems. They are natural summoners and can perform certain darker magic if taught.

Holographic Golems
These are a very recently new golem type that was discovered. They are pretty much ghost like golems with floating hologram projectors, five to eight smaller ones and one Big projector that is the brains and feeding unit keeping this particular golem functioning. They can cause drops or raises in Tempretures or effect electrical devices. They have two forms they can switch between easily, an Anthro form and a Feral Form. They are normally calm and collected golems, however, they are highly mischievous golems that do enjoy giving people or other golems the creeps.

Weathermancy Golems:

Recently rediscovered once El Dorado opens its doors to the Immortals For Trades and Medical reasons. Weathermacy golems are able to manipulate weather to a lesser extent, Predict the weather accurately, and create their own miniature versions of weather depending on what weather system they are assigned to upon creation. The color of the ivy patterns and near white eyes are indicators of what weather they can control. Jade means that golem can control rain, Yellow meant Lightening, Gray would be winds or fog, and the rare rose pink which would control warm weather. The rose pink ones are reserved for the monarchy or higher priests. The Weathermancy is just starting to be popular once more.

Alchemiac Golem Bio:

Alchemiac Golems are very recent and increasingly popular amongst Immortals and Highly skilled Alchemists. Despite their short time span of creation, they have a very complicated history. The First two Alchemiac Golems to be successfully created were Juniper and Birch. They were also the first pair to create the laws and rights that protects Alchemiac Golems to this day. Before the laws and rights were created, their creators were free to destroy them if they wanted to make a new golem or be sold to the highest bidder. Needless to say, things got out of hand within the first fifty years of creation. It was then that Juniper and Birch decided to take things into their own hands and started what will be known as The Golem Revolution. After eleven months of revolts, lab explosions, and death tolls later, the two sides came to terms and wrote out the laws for Alchemiac Golems. These laws are still around to this day and part of the treaty is still in play for any new Golem to know their history.

Alchemiac Golems are usually created for these reasons: for Companionship, to do things that their creator cannot normally do, to do Medical runs when their creator is unable to do so, and for some immortals, to be the children that they themselves could never have. They share the same four stages as the Philosopher’s Stone: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo. During Nigredo, the process of designing the golem comes in along with the creation of the Golem’s “Skeleton”. Once the “Skeleton” is made and cleaned, can the process of Albedo can begin. With Albedo, the “Skin” can be put onto the Golem and designing their looks. Only when this is completed, the difficult parts start. Cintrinitas is when the chemicals needed to bring the golem to life is mixed and injected into the golem. The Chemicals needed have to turn to this golden yellow color before being injected into the golem or it will not work at all. After Citrinitas, come the last and possibly the most frustrating part, Rubedo. During Rubedo, the golem is hooked up to electrical wires and must have the right amount of charges needed to bring them to life. The only way of telling that you have the right amount of electrical charges is when the chemicals injected earlier can be seen as this reddish- purple color showing through the golem.

The golem will be spending its first two weeks of life learning its surroundings. Alchemiac golems tend to "absorb" information much faster than a human infant.
It should be noted that by the end of it's first two weeks, the golem by then has learned to speak and will be able to choose out what gender it wants to be called by. Now, if the creator for the golem is mortal, chances are that the golem is registered to be picked up and brought to a new home once their original creator passes away. If the golem isn't registered due to either their Creator being fearful of losing them or just complete ignorance, that golem could very well end up roaming the streets or living inside of their original home, hiding from new comers. Another thing to take note of is that Alchemiac Golems need to eat and sleep to get energy, if they fail to do so, their bodies will go into sleep mode randomly until the golem has gained enough energy to awaken.
