A first attempt at cracking digital art. Simple lineart traced over a sketch done in pencil in late 2012, with a few things added/changed [wings, foot positions, tail]. There's a lot I'm not happy with about this but after a while my eyes started to hurt and I got tired of fooling with it, so it's done.

Please ignore the horrid anatomy of the raptor claws and tail... they were done without reference as this was mostly focusing on learning tablet skills.

This is Magpie [not my fursona coincidentally]. She is an Orthal. Orthals are sort of, but not exactly, raptor-dragons. I will post more about them later.

Crits on how to make better, smoother lineart would be MUCH appreciated! I'm still not sure what I'm doing, lol~ The wings in particular came out sort of wiggly and I'm not sure why that is. The tablet I'm using is Wacom brand, so it isn't a cheap crappy one afaik. It's not mine though so I don't know for sure~
