Before anyone gets any ideas, I didn't know there was a quicksand fetish before I wrote the story that this drawing is based off of, so chill out. :)

Anyway, this is from "Kindred Lost", a story I've still yet to finish. The main character is looking for this amulet that will help him to enter into a temple where he can retrieve a long-lost dagger. However, the villain of the piece steals it and, to sidetrack Doremus, throws it into the quicksand desert. This desert doesn't look like real quicksand so that it can fool the passerby, but Doremus knows the truth. He removes his armor to reduce his weight, and fetches the amulet. However, the villain quickly steals Doremus' armor, leaving him naked and somewhat peeved. Revenge comes later. :)
