My idea was to go through and give some of my monster girls some better images to go off of….but I think I went a bit overboard!
Emeraudes is, aptly named, an emerald dragon. Gemstone dragons are a lot more susceptible to crystilization, which starts to encase their bodies in their namesake. It eventually leads to death, and as far as victims go, Emeraudes is a lot further along.
Such a pretty character to color though, let me tell you. ;;

For this kind of condition, sadly no. ;; There's ways of slowing down the effects, but at a stage like Emeradues', it's inevitable.

That's unfortunate. At least it doesn't just strike out of the blue. you pretty much have a reasonable idea of how much times left yeah?

Yeah, it's all visual! Once the crystallization hits the torso and attacks the organs, it's all over. ;;

what happens if they cut off their limbs? being a quadriplegic sucks, but you're still alive...

Hmmm...I imagine it's more of a cellular level disease; even if parts are removed, it'll still find a way to manifest itself in another area. ;; All gemstone dragons have this illness, so it's more of an eventual end than something that they look for a cure for.
