Sometimes you just need to look far enough back to see that you’ve improved. It’s hard looking at day to day stuff, but seeing things right next to each other? It’s kinda humbling.
Been too long since I draw Muka though and I should totally remedy that. She was my first monster girl I made!

When I see these comparisons it often just looks like the style has changed. In my experience it's mainly artists who see these and say one is an improvement over the other. If for instance it was an illustration in a book neither of them would seem flawed to me, but each style would be conducive to a different tone of story.
