Bath time to this family is sacred, there is NO fighting..NO arguing, and NO roughhousing. These are Bam's only rules, which the girls follow. ( most of the time ) This is the time they gals and their dad bond and discuss things that have happened to them that day and any plans they have for the following day. Like many families in Sector XII, it's a way to unwind and come together. Even the fact that poor Miranda was exposed to the moon and transformed, still allowed her to take part. ( Despite Em's protests about her shedding in the tub ) Baths in this case are not just a way to get clean of the days toils and troubles, it's also a way for family members to call a truce from their feuding and fighting. Also it's a time to unwind and just sit and come together as a whole. ( and for the tech girl to put down her work and come sit with the family... however Chispa is considered family so she's allowed to sit in as well )
