Okay.. here we go.

Here we have Pretzel Ann De La Cruz Tula, or as many call her Lady Pretz. ( Well most call her Pretz.. the Lady she MAKES people call her ) She is the daughter of one of the 5 Warlords of Bam's world. Her land used to be allies with his father's Kingdom, but after Lesnar took over, and a falling out with Queen Mari Posa, they have remained neutral. Her father Lord Delgado and Bam's father used to be good friends, sadly his wife and Bam's mom had a falling out and well.. you know how it is guys.. like it our not.. your lady MAKES you take a side. (hers)

Bam finds himself at odds with Pretz mostly due to the fact that she refuses to except help from him. ( even after her father begs her too ) Also she seems obsessed with one uping him at every turn. Pretz is a lady who must ALWAYS have her way.. right or wrong. Sadly that doesn't work out to well with Bam. ( mostly because people seem to take HIS side ) Still in an attempt to make her providence better and happier, she's attempting to swallow her pride and take Bam's help. Mostly she's curious as to how someone of such obvious low breeding could actually be prince.

Pretz is proud and very condescending. Even her praises sound like insults, she always seems to be talking down to everyone. ( Something Bam points out to her many MANY times ) Because of it people tend to avoid or even isolate her. ( She sees Bam's people favor him, and at times even her OWN people do too ) Because of it she's always felt she cannot fit in. ( thought she's unable to see her attitude is the problem. ) However she slowly sees herself depending on Bam more and more. Whether it's winning the favor of her people, or keeping the other Warlords in check.

Pretz is not of royal blood like Bam, however her lineage is of the Elders so, like Bam, she has elemental powers. ( in her case ice like her mother before her ) At times people feel her power suits her as she tends to be cold and distant to people. In her first encounter with Bam she was able to hold her own when she engaged him in battle. ( something she makes sure EVERYONE knows and hears about )

Pretz is a Ladybug like her mother, however her wings her cut off when she was a child and cannot fly. ( this horrid event also involved the death of her mother) Despite this she never talks about the event and usually changes the subject.

Pretz's parasol is not a parasol at all, but an object than can change to whatever shape she wishes. ( Usually weapons ) It used to belong to Mari Posa, however it somehow found it way into her hands.

Pretz despite talking big, deep inside is very insecure. She knows no one likes her, and also she's very insecure about her body. ( not just the fact her missing her wings either) So she dresses rather modestly. Her outfit here is the one she first appears in, her outfit changes later when she decides to allow Bam to show her what "slumming" is.

Pretz becomes rather found of Bam as she realizes he's the only one sticking with her even after she's so horrible to him. Plus the fact that he prefers to live like "the subjects" instead of like royalty rather intrigues her.

Always quick with a comeback and always fast with a personal jab, Pretz remains at odds with everyone. even those closest to her.

Yeah this character has always been around in the back of my head. At one time a cousin to Bam, other times just another annoyance of a blue blood who feels Bam is not worthy to take the crown. But now she's a major player in this series. Plus I always felt Bam would LOVE having someone around that drove HIS mom crazy. I based her on Maribelle from Fire Emblem as I always loved that character. She was someone whom you hated at first, but as you got to know her and understand her you learned she wasn't all bad. Plus I felt this series needed more strong women in it, and Pretz is strong enough to hold her own in a world when men THINK the run things. ( she secretly respects Mari Posa as she rules despite the male Warlords give her grief. She never gives them an inch and looks them in the eye before knocking them on their backs. )

Anyway enjoy.. she'll be around more and more. ( gotta work on that hair!! )
