As a non-binary Lamb (who has come across untold eldritch powers), the Lamb knows what it can be like when coming to terms with your identity.  Those in reality aren't as fortunate (in this specific instance) to have a leader that will use the unholy forces of the dark abyss to help you body match how you feel inside.
