A lot of my doodles are actually straight out in pen. And I actually use a blue that has a lighter ink for roughing, so it's pen the whole way through.

Sssssssh! You're awesome. No need to make me jealous of your mad skills. :p But you do do some sort of sketch before putting down those black lines and marvelous hatching, right? (Lie to me if you must, my ego can't take your brilliance full force.)

I can see your penciling in these a little better. It gives me an idea of how you go about these. (Makes the work feel more human, as I know these did not fall fully formed from your pen.)
