I used Neocolor II watercolour crayons (I wet the tips and gather pigment with my brush, instead of using them directly on the paper) and a size 6 travel brush for this. Once it was dry I inked it and added a few highlights with a white gel pen.

The colours are a bit washed out here; I couldn't manage to bring them back in Photoshop without killing the whole thing, so... Hm.
