I had some unexpected free time today, so I spent a few hours working on the Adolescent Dragon lines with my new paints. I was recently given a set of St. Petersburg White Nights watercolours, and wow but the pigment is intense in these. I really love them. I tried to make him look as though his scales and wings shift between blue-purple-red with a sort of iridescent sheen; I don’t know if I really captured it but I like the results all the same.
