LTSmiley

Invader Name: Do Not Refrigerate

Official Name: Talaf Yee’eq

Height: 6’3’’

Technical Gender: Male

Age: 28

Nickname: DN Refrigerate, DN

Species: Tropical Qwuedeviv

Official Specialty: Demolition; Also highly efficient with the majority of Qwuedeviv Assault Weaponry

Rank: Specialist

Disguised As: Butcher (on Earth)

Appearance:
DN Refrigerate is a colorful Qwuedeviv—more common amongst the jungle dwelling types as opposed to the others. Its fur is a tealish color with brownish red spots along its back, ears, arms and neck. Its legs slowly transition from the dark reddish brown to orange before fading back into a light tan that covers its front torso and under arms. Its face is likewise partially tan, fading into teal beyond its eyes. It has three black stripes on the upper portion of its orange legs. Its eyes are red-orange with yellow sclera. Its tail has a base color of being dark brown-red, with long, silky teal fur that drapes over the top of it. Its tail is very flexible, capable of twisting various segments of it without directly affecting the rest. It has additional little things on its head that can move up and down, to the sides, etc. They don’t have an official name but seem to work like sensors. It has two jellyfish-like stingers on its back. A small clip is in its right ear. It’s actually a tracking chip.

DN’s usual outfit consists of standard army gear with the addition of small, brown, camo-like patterns. It also wears a thick black vest with various straps along its legs and waist. Its gloves are black with a deep yellow stripe near the tops and its boots are armored, black with a yellow stripe down the center. These boots also have deep treads and clawed tips for better grip on the ground. Armor covers the thick vest it wears and attaches to a type of backpack like shield generator. Two tentacles extend from this pack.

Its disguise consists of wearing a white shirt over the top of its black invader uniform. It also wears black fingerless gloves and a simple belt.

Personality:
DN is exceedingly easy going and carefree. It has an impressive amount of patience and never seems to be disturbed or irritated by the happenings around it. Despite its less than exciting disposition, it’s one of the few units that Spork respects and approves of. DN Refrigerate has always been dependable and efficient at tasks it has been given. It may come across as sluggish, but this Qwuedeviv is by no means lazy.

DN is not easily side tracked from its mission, nor does it ever seem to get nervous or anxious over difficulties out of its control (or within its control.) Its view on matters is very objective and thus it can be a great asset to those willing to listen.

To some extent, it acts as a peacekeeper amongst Crew 52 as it is quite capable of diffusing tension. DN has always been a mediator growing up and so it comes fairly natural for it to step in as the need arises.

It sees their species’ entire life goal of continuous conquering to be sort of pointless since they never stop to actually enjoy their victories, but then again, it also supposes it would be discontent with the alternate routine as well.

If one were to want to meet a Qwuedeviv without risk of injury, DN would be the Qwuedeviv to track down. DN simply does not get worked up about things.

Background:
DN Refrigerate is a demolition and weapons expert. Most would not guess such by simply observing the dreary Qwuedeviv though. It doesn’t speak of its line of work unless prompted, under most circumstances.
Growing up, it was friends first with Pokeyoo; an odd pair considering how vastly different their personalities were. Pokeyoo was always ready to show off its ‘mad skills’ in medical knowledge though, or simply put, make suggestions when DN would get one of its many colds. DN followed its unruly friend through many an eccentric endeavor, only ever intervening when things would get out of hand. It would make recommendations although they usually went unheeded.

DN spent a good portion of its life at central base, but knew Pokeyoo prior to. It later became friends with Spork as well through means that are simply anyone’s guess. The two have a strange friendship and understanding despite the fact words are rarely verbally exchanged.

Upon arriving on Earth, DN had an easy time merging into society when an elderly couple suddenly started proclaiming that their son had come to visit. DN went along with it, not particularly caring if they thought it was such. Fishsticks followed its lead and also stayed with the couple.

It is speculated that DN would make a great Warrant Officer/Instructor. Its patience and weaponry knowledge make it a prime choice. Although not officially in such a position, DN will gladly teach and share its weaponry knowledge with those interested.

Random Facts:
DN Refrigerate has luxurious fur that could rival Smiley’s—particularly its tail which is long and silky.

DN, like most tropical devivs, is incredibly vulnerable to cold and notices it far more than the other Qwuedeviv.

DN has really odd tastes in music, preferring an old fashion style of Cowboy/Western, Soul and Elevator Music.

DN prefers to stay geared up, claiming changing to be a pain.

DN will spar with Spork in hand to hand combat if the other wants to. It loses, but can put up a decent fight and has impressive endurance or as Spork puts it, ‘can take a serious beating.’

DN’s plasma shield, force field generator is incredibly faulty and inconsistent; however it generally does an effective job of slowing down potential dangers. The size of the shields, number and location vary. The generator also requires hefty charge times. Regardless it can create short term shields to protect itself and the crew from explosions.

DN drinks a lot of tropical fruit juices—it can almost always be found sipping away at one. It claims that it’s a sort of home comfort thing.
