Squad VS-E236

LTSmiley

Hey everyone. I finished this picture of squad VS-E236. You’re welcome to ask more questions about them that aren’t covered here, but in basic they are a squad of Qwuedeviv who are in The Void. All of these guys are very minor characters, but as usual that doesn’t stop me from showing them and telling about them a bit. They’ll be in the Void story. I’ll also be posting additional info when I finish the cover for said story.

As a minor note, all Void Qwuedeviv take on deep shades of blue due to their environment. It is not uncommon to have bright splotches of pale yellow as well. Said yellow is actually the equivalent of a sun burn/exposure to harsh conditions and other sudden trauma. The longer a Void Qwuedeviv has been there, generally the darker their fur will become. All Void Qwuedeviv look very similar to one another and most develop the black eyed sclera.

You guys have seen me doodle these guys a bit at these links;

Anyway here’s a little info about these guys. Also Void devivs don’t have invader names because they’re not invaders. C=
*If the markings and symbol in the BG are white on your screen your colors are off a bit. Its actually a light yellow/offwhite. But I notice it doesn't show up on all screens. It shows up on the majority of mine, but then on my laptop its straight up white.

Quarvath
Quarvath has been part of The Void longer than any of the others within its squad. It is totally blind due to battle training injuries, but that doesn’t put it at a disadvantage. Seeing how The Void Qwuedeviv often operate in total darkness, its blindness is an asset . Its other senses are heightened far above an average Qwuedeviv and it can make a lot of highly accurate guesses as to location and distance. It sometimes has a hard time finding its crew amongst overwhelming noise. During free time it prefers to keep close to one of the others so as not to get separated. It is a very quiet, serious Qwuedeviv. It is considerably wise and considered to be a ‘survivor’ that not much could kill. It is fairly tolerant of a wide range of personalities although it finds arrogance to be an annoying hindrance.

Thehsurii
Thehsurii has something of an officer complex. It holds no authority within the crew, but it certainly thinks its opinion should be valued more than the others. If the crew’s commanding officers are away, it has been known to start acting like the boss. No one really listens to it though, and their general teasing and mockery of it tend to make it indignant. It is not the best team player and once ditched Duspp when ordered to assist as a partner. Its considerable insubordinance has been an issue in the past. Thehsurii has a tendency to start fights with Qwuedeviv from other divisions if they happen to be transporting them through deep space.

Trehh
Trehh is the youngest within its squad and considerably arrogant. It is always on a mission to prove itself valuable and stand out. It may spend a lot of time bragging, but it enjoys the company of the squad and tends to be more reserved around other voidsharks not a part of the squad. It seems to like to brag to Sehphii in particular, probably because it is the only one that will humor it.

Sehphii
Sehphii is the peacekeeper of the squad. Soft spoken, and careful to choose its words, Sehphii is closest to both Iniiros and Blehhk. It often tactfully intervenes during arguments between the two. Everyone in the squad is fond of the cheerful voidshark. Sehphii is always concerned about the wellbeing of its fellow squad units. It is a capable voidshark and loyal. Sehphii has often been intrigued by Blehhk’s odd way of thinking and has questioned The Void’s practices as a result.

Duspp
Duspp is the most recent addition to squad VS-E236. It tries its best to keep pace with the others but its lack of experience and proper conditioning leave it with several shortcomings. Most of the squad gives it a rather hard time, especially Unzev and the squad’s head commander, Sgt. Iniiros. It still retains more color than most of The Void Qwuedeviv. It nearly got itself killed in a training exercise after it was separated from Thehsurii. It was saved by LCpl Blehhk. Duspp is a well-meaning voidshark, but makes a lot of mistakes that could try most anyone’s patience.

Unzev
Unzev stirs trouble when the rest of the crew has ruffled fur. It deals with stress by becoming even more of a nuisance. Unzev never wanted to be a voidshark and has quite openly stated where it would rather be on several occasions. It isn’t always such a pain in the tail though. Out of all squad units, Unzev is the most likely to risk its tail to protect the others. It can be serious and reliable when the need arises. Its fur color is oddly dull from what is common for Void Qwuedeviv. It also has developed the bright eye mutation that has greatly distorted its ability to focus visually. Additionally it is totally color blind.
