Bears are nice and friendly at the salmon run, but the storytime scene seems to confirm they don't talk much during the rest of the year.

I don't think a male would be so welcome around cubs in spring. Or invited to eat with other bears.

Kenai is going to be very surprised when he leaves his hibernation cave.
